These foods will make you not a genius, but will give an impulse operating system of your brain, its energy and power and your ability to concentrate.

1. Omega-3

Omega-3 fatty acids (for which fish is an excellent source, particularly sardines and walnuts, chia seeds, bran psyllium) have positive effects on health. The latest research has shown that they participate in the manufacture of gray matter in the brain.

In a study that aimed to identify the benefits of omega-3 fatty acids on the brain, the volunteers who ate foods richest in omega-3 had the largest amount of gray matter in the brain at the end of the experiment, as demonstrated pictures obtained by magnetic resonance.

2. Choline
Choline is a substance which binds to each cell in the body. The researchers examined the effect of an additional decades of hill where monkeys. Probably know that folic acid (or vitamin B9) is important during pregnancy for the baby to develop normally, but adults need it. A Dutch study, including people from 70 to 90 years showed that those who took folic acid supplements had higher cognitive performance (thinking and memory).

In other news, one of the biggest problems caused by chronic alcoholism is reducing the amount of folic acid in the body. Foods rich in folic acid include meat (chicken liver and organs are the best sources), legumes (dried beans, sweet potatoes, apples, broccoli, cabbage, beets, spinach, hazelnuts, soy products and almonds), wholegrain cereals and fruits (bananas, oranges and peaches).

5. Blueberries
Blueberries reduce damage caused by a stroke. Scientists have made numerous observations and found that monkeys who had stroke, after eating blueberry extract, brains were nearly twice rebuilt better than those who do not ate.
