A Nurse Turned Engineer

Posted on at

I've been reading a lot of post regarding how hard it is to realize what you truly want to pursue in life specially regarding your career. I also struggled with the same thing at one point in my life. It's normal for a teenager that I was to just follow what my parents recommend on what to take in college. But when I started working, I realized that there was something that I want to become, an Engineer. So what I did, a year after I got employed, I enroll my self to an Industrial Engineering course at TIP Quezon City while working full-time. It was really hard to balance everything but it was really fulfilling. Today, I'm already in my 4th year and will hopefully graduate a year from now. This is the boldest decision I've made my entire life. It feels like "A Leap of Faith" kind of thing. You know the feeling when you're in a place you truly belong, it can't be compared to anything.

It is really true that "It’s never too late to be who you might have been."
