Today I would like to make cook with lentil which is a member of the legume family. As you know this a small but nutritionally , are a very good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber.  Lentils also provide good to excellent amounts of six important minerals, two B-vitamins, and protein—all with virtually no fat. So as it has a lot of benefit for our health, I strongly recommend you to use it in your foods, as Afghan people mostly used lentil in their foods to make it more delicious, and here are the necessary material for this food:

Ingredients:

A 200 g minced meat, chopped

3 cups rice

80 g green lentils (lentils rates depending on your taste)

1 medium onion, chopped

2 pieces of tomato puree

1 tablespoon tomato paste

Turmeric and lemon powder and enough meat spices

Salt and pepper as required

1/5 cup of water

First Wash rice and soak in water but do not add salt to the rice.

Cook lentils with water and little salt and set them aside.

Put the chopped onion in a pot and fry it in oil until it becomes golden, then add the spices and  steam them longer. Then add the tomato paste and meat into them and let to fry meat for 3 minutes then add the tomato puree and water to them and let them cooked. When meat cooked add the salt and pepper to it. Throw away the rice water and add the rice into the meat material. The meat water should much with the rice, Because if the water be a lot then it will make loose the rice. Now add the cooked lentils and stir them good. Let rice to brew and if desired, add 2 tablespoons oil, pour over the rice. If you feel that the rice is a little dry, add a small amount of water.
