Another Bangladeshi among nine hostages

Another Bangladeshi national has been identified among the nine foreigners who were taken hostage by the ISIS militants in Libya on 6 March (Friday).
The second Bangladeshi victim of the abduction by the ISIS is Anwar Hossain, hailed from Noakhali, a foreign ministry press release confirmed on Tuesday.
Helal Uddin, an inhabitant of Jamalpur district, was earlier named as one of the nine people kidnapped from an oil field in Libya.
Anwar Hossain was identified as a Sudanese national by mistake, said witnesses on the spot, who later gave Anwar's identity as a Bangladeshi.
In Dhaka, the foreign ministry claimed that the Bangladesh mission on Tripoli was trying to know the whereabouts of the Bangladeshis.
Islamist militants of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), which became active on a number of volatile scenes in the Middle East, abducted nine foreigners including the two Bangladeshis from Al Ghani Oil Field in the Libyan city Sirte on 6 March.
The militants, during the operation, also killed 11 security guards.
