India today successfully test-fired its nuclear-capable Prithvi-II. It is a surface-to-surface missile with a maximum range of 350 km and the most important thing is that it is indigenously-developed by our country. The ballistic missile was fired from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur in Balasore district of Odisha. So, it may be concluded that India has advanced another step towards self-sufficiency in its defence requirements.
Another milestone in India’s military might.
