Aspiring Azkals

I forgot when exactly  pictures taken. What I remembered is that I took the pictures when Azkals just made a big name in Suzuki Cup and I started to became football enthusiast.

We were in QMC (Quezon memorial Circle) that time.

While waiting for the rain to stop, my sister and I saw these kids with their coach arrived. They were about to start to play Football. I never thought there is a pitch inside the Circle.

Some get bored watching the game but me? I really enjoyed watching it. Even the game will end up nil-nil. How the players kick and defend the ball and of course the much awaited goal.

I admire how the players endure the 45 minutes (1st half) without break or rest because unlike basketball, Football doesn't have timeout and limited substitution.

What catches my attention most:

 Muddy pitch

Improper shoes

Some kids not wearing shoes while playing

But despite of all that I mentioned and even some kids got wounded since they’re not wearing shoes, they still enjoyed playing. Those kids made my heart aches but at the same time made me smile. You can see the genuine smile and the genuine cry. You can see their determination for the GOAL.

I know what school they came from but I won't mention it. I just hope and pray that those kids are now playing in a nice pitch wearing their football shoes.

Don't mind the date in the picture.
