After first two games series was level. Both teams wanted to get the lead and go ahead in the series. But this was looking tough for South Africa due to their performance on this tour of Australia. They fail to create pressure on Australia. While the batting line of Australia was in good form. Australia bats first in this game start this game with attacking cricket. Openers were giving to no chances to South African pace battery to get some relief. Both openers Aaron Finch and David Warner play attacking cricket. They give the century stand for the first wicket which gives the chance to Australia to put the 300 runs plus total on the board. David Warner was bowled out after fifty. But Finch makes a good hundred. He plays brilliant innings. He hit 9 fours and 3 huge sixes. One down batsman Shane Watson also plays the little brilliant innings of 40. Australia was giving nicely towards the bog total but they were losing wicket. But Smith recovers it with his extra ordinary innings of 77 runs from just 55 balls. Australia put a huge of total of 329 runs on the board. Two top bowlers (Morkel and Philander) gone for 154 runs in their 20 over’s. When two premium fast bowlers will not give good performance, automatically chances of their victory will be minimized.

South Africa starts their innings very well with Hashim Amla and Quinton De Kock. Both these openers give the pace to the South African innings. But De Kock lost his wicket before reaching to his fifty. After the first wicket Australian bowlers not gives to many chances to come back in the match to the South Africa. Hashim Amla also backs to the pavilion after scoring century. All remaining batsman did not show any responsibility except AB De Villiers. He plays the good quick fifty runs innings. But this was not enough for the South Africa team. Due to this bad performance of South Africa batsman’s they lost this match by 73 runs. With this victory once again Australia gets the lead in this series. If South Africa wants to win this series, they will have to improve themselves in all the fields of cricket in remaining matches.
