Bitcoin, now a popular topic in finance and business-related conversations, is progressively entering all industries.
bitLanders has made its mission to promote and advocate for the digital currency by introducing Bitcoin to its 500,000 users and being the only social platform able to both give and receive Bitcoin from its users, but at the same time teaching them what the digital currency is and how it can be used, in a safe and anonymous environment.
bitLanders doesn’t stop there and is now introducing the social good industry to Bitcoin by offering to charities and foundations the opportunity to be featured on its Charity Page. All bitLanders users have the possibility to donate part of their earnings to the foundations and organizations featured on this page.
Charities are more and more to join the movement and embrace the digital currency by accepting donations in Bitcoin. Non-profits like Save The Children, BitGive Foundation, United Way, American Red Cross, Greenpeace USA and the UK's Royal National Lifeboat Institution have recently joined the list of charities that accept Bitcoin. Will they join bitLanders and be featured along side our current charities like Women's Annex Foundation, Action Against Hunger, VH1 Save the Music Foundation, or Life Vest Inside?
By joining our Charity Page, non-profit organizations are being introduced to Bitcoin and widening the range of donation methods they accept.
In parallel to social good, bitlanders is also bringing Bitcoin to the world of sports and specifically to Judo by being a co-sponsor of the 2015 NY Open Judo and rewarding the Bitcoin Judo Cup.
