Yesterday at a wedding I met a 70 year old woman who was newly dating a 72 year old man. When she spoke of her new love, she sounded like a 15 year old girl! She was talking about him and blushing, telling me about all the fun things they have been doing lately and how romantic he is. When I asked her how it was dating at this age- she looked surprised, like it was a crazy question. Then I realized, it was. Why does it matter how old someone is when they find love? Even if its the 3rd, 4th or 5th time in their life- why would their age matter in finding a new romance? This gave me such a positive feeling- that love can be present in your life at any time. I hope that when I am 70 years old I am still in love!
