Who will be watching Supergirl, a new Fall 2015 TV show based on the DC Comics character?

Supergirl tells the adventures of Superman's cousin 24-year-old Kara Zor-El who starting her own superhero career. She was adopted by the Danvers family when she was 13 after being sent away from her planet Krypton. Even though she has been hiding her powers her whole life, she now must learn to embrace them.

Kara adopted sister Alex Danvers, played by Chyler Leigh. will also play a key role in the series, as well as Winn Schott, Kara's confident, played by Jeremy Jordan, whose biggest role so far has been on Smash. Supergirl also sees the return on TV of Calista Flockhart who will be playing Cat Grant, the head of a media empire located in National City, and Kara's boss.

Supergirl full episode will premiere on CBS on October 26th, 2015, and weekly in the timeslot opposite to another DC Comics series, Gotham.

After the pilot was leaked online, CBS previewed it at Comic-Con.

Supergirl stars actress Melissa Benoist previously seen in another TV show, Glee. It was developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler, Sarah Shechter, and Andrew Kreisberg.
