Dengue fever is an infectious discease spread by mosquito and virus.Dengue fever is found during and after the rainy season in the tropical and sub-tropical area of the world.It is also know as break bone fevre because it may cause severe joint and mucle pain.



History

the dengue viruses orginated in monkey and then those were transfered is human in Africa and South East Asia through mosquito.There is some evidence of an epidemic in 17th century.During the second wiorld war,the co-incidental transport of Aedes mosquito in car go is thought to one of the major causes of spread of virus,into 1906 transmission by Aedes mosquoto was connfirmed and by the year 1907 dengue was reconized as a major disease.



Georaphical Distribution

dengue is one of the most common viral disease transmitted by Aedes mosquito.The spread of dengue is due to expending georaphical distribution of dengue virus and its vector.The most important vector predominatly is the urben spcies As aegyti. Dengue fever is mote frequent in almost 100 tropical and the most serously effected.Prior to 1970 only nine countries had exidemics. 



WHO estimate that approximately 2.5 billion people are now at risk of dnegue fever.An estimate 50 to 100 million cases of dengue fever occer each yesr.The incidence of dengue has increased 30 fold between 1960 and 2010.This increas is believed to be related to the over all change in climate and enviroment

Dengue can be divided into three type (1)Dengue feber (DF) debgue hemrrhagicfever (DHF) and dengue shock syndrome (DSS)
