Eid-ul-fetr a Muslem festival

Eid - u- Fetr is a muslem festival . it is celebrated at the end of holly month Ramadan, the ninth month
Islamic Calender.

fitr is said to be derived from the word Tatar' whic means 'breaking' or 'Fitrah' meaning alms. it is an occasion feastin and rejoiicing. Family get-together abd feast are the major highlights of the celebrations of Eid-u-l Fetr.

peaple exchange greetings 'Eid Mobarak'. Traditionally, 'Eidi' in the form of presents of mony and gift are given to the youngesters by the elders and are conveyed blesings.

speciall delicious dishes like sevian are prepared in this festival. it is a time to all past diffrences and rievences.

it is bleaved that it was during the month of Ramadan that the Holly book of the Muslims, the Quran came into existence and prophet
Muhammad(peace be up on him) was chosenby god as his mesenger to compile the sacred book.

the last ten days of ramadan are of great significant for the muslims because during this period, the revelation of the book to the prophet was comleted.
