Earth is big planet resource for living the human and other things. The earth is not only living and breathing planet in our solar system. The life of fauna and flora as well al the future of the human race would depend upon its health. But modern technology of advancements in science, industry area and nuclear armaments has led to considerable changes in the environment of this beautiful planet.

The loss of the forest cover has resulted in an unstable rainfall pattern. Forest is an integral part of the vegetation. Man has cut down the vast forest reserve in the name of the industrialization.

More gases are mixed into the atmosphere and form compound with ozone gas. Thus density of the ozone gas is reducing and this phenomenon is termed as ozone hole. This hole allows the harmful rays to pierce through the atmosphere and fall on the surface of the earth.

Due to the melting of the polar ice caps the ocean level would rise. There should be small land for us. If the poles of earth is heated up due to ozone hole, due to the axis of earth is shifted. This could result in earthquakes.

Man is causing environmental degradation through pollution. He is polluting the earth by man is polluting the air by burning millions of tones of the hydrocarbon fuels. The poisonous gases coming out of the vehicles, plants, factories and the generators. It brought diseases like TB, lungs cancer, eye defects, asthma, infections and others.

Man is polluted water by mixing industrial and household waste material and different chemicals. Soil is polluted by mixing pesticides, fertilizers and toxic chemicals for agriculture production.

The dumping of nuclear waste is raised a hue and cry in the entire world. Nuclear test are being carried out has bad impact on the environments.

We control this global disaster by resorting to reforestation, by using eco-friendly vehicles, consuming lesser amount of fuel, avoiding the pilling up of nuclear weapons and care the operations of chemical and nuclear plants around the global world.

Environmental protection is most serious issue to be addressed by the masses, the scientists and the governments in the interest of the health of our planet.
