In Afghanistan women are treated very harshly and there is a fact sheet which provide the complete picture of Afghan women.I found the information from various sources which provides some harsh facts about women.

1- Every 30 minutes an Afghan women dies during childbirth.

2- 87% of all Afghan women are illiterate.

3- 30 % of girls have basic access to education.

4- 1 in every 3 Afghan women have experienced physical,psychological and or sexual abuse.

5- 44 years is the average life expectancy rate for women in Afghanistan.

6- 70 to 80 percent of women face forced marriages in Afghanistan.

I have highlighted some of the facts about Afghan  women but the area of concern is much broader which need to be addressed on immediate basis.
