#Farkhonda. By: Zarlasht Sarmast

47 hours since I have been hearing about what happened to Farkhonda. I have been pushing my self away from watching videos, photos and articles about that horrible event.

Finally today, I could not stop my self from pressing the play button in one of the videos on social media shared by a friend. I can not say I am horrified. What I am feeling right now is way beyond that.

How many stones did they throw at you? How heavy were they? what else did they beat you with? Were you feeling every thing? How did you beg for help? Were there NO ONE to help you? to safe you from death? What were they thinking when they burn you at the end? What were the police doing?

 What are you? Gods?

I have always been trying not see the negative parts of my country, but it is impossible from now on. My country is not as beautiful as I thought it was. I am heart broken. I am speechless. I don’t know what to call these people.

How can you give this right to yourself to kill and burn a human being, who you don’t even know for sure burned the holy Quran? And even if you do know this, it is not your job to kill her and burn her alive. You are not the god.

May peace be up on Farkhonda and may the animals of my country learn how to live like a human!
