Fashion Film for Social Responsibility

Posted on at

The fashion film '100% Model' starring Italian model and actor Sasha Marini was created for shout up you can, an initiative created by Sasha to combat sexual abuse in the fashion industry, telling models that it is not the accepted avenue to pursue and advance their careers. The film which I saw for the first time at the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival was very powerful in its message, and beautifully produced by a very talented team.

It was a pleasant surprise when Susan and Ambassador Muhamed Sacirbey of DiplomaticallyIncorrect.org acknowledged the initiative and Sasha's work by naming him DI's  September's Diplomat Artist of the Month. Regarding Sasha the Sacirbey's comment that, "He crystalizes the world of popular culture and fashion and has moved beyond the stage/runway to social and global contributions."

It's a fantastic recognition for a man intensely driven and passionate to reach as many of his fellow models as he can. Having Diplomatically Incorrect sharing his story to their massive network is beyond what Sasha expected when he decided to upload his film for our style of internet marketing and promotion. But as I witness on a daily basis with Francesco Rulli's  Building Schools in Afghanistan initiative, you never know who's paying attention to what your saying and come knocking on your door to be involved.

Congratulations Sasha!
