Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Posted on at

The challenge for Ferrari engineers while building the Challenge Stradale was to improve the race-track performance of the already-existing super race car, the Modena. And the Stradale came out trumps with an improvement that was beyond expectations. Thus, in year 2004 was born this street-legal racer, which continues to dazzle even though its production has been discontinued. Available for nearly similar price of $151,000, the Stradale boasted of a 110-kg weight reduction, a 3.5-seconds improvement in lap-time at the Fiorano circuit, an enhanced digital throttle and a sublime chassis-control compared to the Modena. The 2-seater coupe was assembled in Maranello in Italy and in spite of its name, it is a road car and not a part of Ferrari's Challenge race series.
