General Parvez Musharraf the son of Syed Musharraf Uddin and Zarin Musharraf born on August 11, 1943, in Old Dehli India. He belongs to Syed family of civil servants. His father was the section officer in foreign ministery. Parvez Musharraf took his early education from Saint Patrick High School Karachi,later on he went to Christen College (FC College) Lahore for graduation. He spent large part of his age in Turkey.

Parvez Musharraf was good at Mathematics. In 1961 he joined Pakistan Military Academy Kakul. He took part in the war of 1965 in Khem karan,Lahore and Sialkot sector. He was the young officer at that time thus awarded the “ Imtiaz-i-Sanad” , later on he saw action in the war of 1971 as a Company Commando against India. He was promoted as General Major on 15th January 1991 and later on 21st October 1995 as a Lieutenant General. He is also awarded by “ Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-e-Basalat”.

 On 27th December, 1968 he Parvez Musharraf get married with a lady Sehba Farid. She has completed his life with two children, son Bilal and daughter Ayla. Both of his children are married and are enjoying peaceful married life.  

In Nawaz Shareef Era, Nawaz Shareef dismissed him when Parvez Musharraf was not in the country and later Nawaz Shareef resist his plane from landing at Karachi Airport. But all the senior Military Officers refused to dismiss him. In 2002 General Parvez Musharraf reinstated the constitution and was selected as a 10th President of Pakistan. He left presidency on the sad afternoon of 18th August 2008. 

Parvez Musharraf is the great leader he envisions Pakistan as moderate Islamic state. He pull out Pakistan from the crises by his wisdom.. In his era “Women’s protection bill” was passed. Parvez Musharraf is the man of strong determination. He is simple and graceful. He accepts Kamal Ataturk as his ideal. He loves to play golf, squash and badminton. He is world leader.
