Seagate has announced that they have 8TB of hard disk they are marketed, in which we have also been announced that Seagate is working on a giant hard drive with the capacity in which the technology is used called shingled magnetic recording (SMR). 

8TB hard drive Seagate has sent this to the corporate partner Kinetic object-oriented storage platform. Seagate says that the hard disk has enterprise-class security and support for compressing workload, and has a multi-drive RV tolerance and a SATA interface supports 6Gb / s. 


Indeed, the hard disk is suitable for purposes such as data center and still not suitable for general use by the public, especially since the price is still relatively expensive, because the classes and markets hard disk for the purposes of the company or enterprise. Although we had not yet know exact price of this hard disk is a hard disk but no one has this kind of cheap.
