“Honesty is the best policy” so truly and wisely said by Benjamin Franklin. Honesty is the quality of being honest and truthful. Honesty is the best policy means being honest is the best action. Honesty is an admirable quality one can ever have. Every one of us is familiar with this saying but few of us fallow this policy. In present days people are less honest and less reliable.

Like other good deeds honesty is also great virtue. The owner of this great virtue gets reward in both worlds. The people who want to be successful in life then they must fallow honesty in every walk of life. It is the quality of great leaders they succeed in their life because of the quality of honesty. It is the ladder to success and it is the better way to progress.

Thomas Jefferson said; “Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.” It is the basic unit of character building and it is the only building block of spiritual life. It is not the best trait of present days rather it is on the top of the rank of good deeds since million of years ago. Our Holy Prophet Hazart Muhammad (S.A.A.W) is the role model of honesty. He was called as “AL-AMIN” by people of Makkah.

Honesty is essential for every relationship. It is the soul of true relationship without soul body means nothing. If there is no honesty then no relationship can last for longer time period. A happy and long lasting relationship demands the honesty and loyalty of both. Honesty is the most expensive gift one can ever give to his partner but it should not be expected from all.

If one follow the maxim “Honesty is the best policy” in his life it leads to tension free, peaceful and comfortable life. Honest man is not afraid of any one and he possess dignified personality. It has been said ;“ Honest men fear neither the light nor the dark.” Honesty is always the best way to live it makes us good person and it also remits the bad deeds from society.
