How to slow down a video on iMovie

Posted on at

iMovie is a very common and widespread application that you can download to your Mac from iTunes ; through it you will be able, through a few simple clicks , apply a slow motion effect to a video. Do not serve particular software video editing or other heavy applications, and by means of this tutorial I intend to show you how you can slow down a video right on iMovie. Just follow the steps below to learn everything that you need; So let's see how to proceed.

The first thing you need to do is install the application on your device: you just need to open iTunes and to bring you the section for the download or purchase of new applications. Search iMovie and download it. It may be that this application was already present on your Mac or that I had previously downloaded; in this case, skip to step 2.

Start then iMovie on your Mac and select the movie which you wish to apply the effect slow motion. You can import a movie in the form of external file by selecting "Import Movies" from the menu that appears after clicking in the Event Library; or you will be able to choose a file inside the iPhoto library by selecting the corresponding item in this gallery.
