We went last month here in Tsugaru Jinja Shrine . As written there inside the jinja , INARI , originally an agricultural deity of harvests , has come to  be worshipped here as the guardian of the area .

The shrine used to protect the residence of the TSUGARU  SAMURAI FAMILY  of the Hirosaki domain  ( now Aomori )  before the building was taken over by the neighborhood association when the rest of the estate was dispersed during the Meiji period .

 

This is one of the popular Jinja Shrine in the area .
