In December, 2014 India's Passenger vehicles was total 245,955 vehicles, commercial vehicles was total 51,019 vehicles.

Here are top 5 automotive makers in India.

Passenger Vehicles

Top 5 automotive makers were ranked from Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (38.8% of market share), followed by Hyundai Motor India Ltd (23.3% of market share), Honda Cars India Ltd (6.6% of market share), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (6.1% of market share), and Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd (5.8% of market share).

Commercial Vehicles

Top 5 automotive makers were ranked from Tata Motors Ltd(47.0% of market share), followed by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd(25.5% of market share), Ashok Leyland Ltd (15.9% of market share), VECVs - Eicher (5.0% of market share), and Force Motors Ltd (3.1% of market share).
