Japanese Animated movies

Since early days when i am a teenager, i am very much inspired by anime. One movie stands out which is the first Ghost in the shell movie.

I think it is the first movie i saw that has the realism style to a animation. It feels true and epic. It's like what Christopher Nolan done to the batman, adding more realism, not darker but believable.
