Jason learned something invaluable from this experience. He found that a lie has no legs to stand upon. Besides learning not to lie, he also got some other lessons. One of them is the importance of time. the time wasted in a stupid recreation i.e movies became a great problem for hi. If he had not wasted the time , he wouldn't have to tell a lie to satisfy his father. He also learned how many expectations do our parents attach to us. We should give them due love, respect and care. Similarly he learned to be punctual ans keep the promise.
