Allegations: Catherine and Graeme alleged texts were posted on the forum

A jilted lover has accused his partner of an affair with a married Scout leader by posting the claim - on the group's website.

Computer programmer Billy Fagan has claimed his partner Catherine Mcneice has fallen for Stoneywood Scouts married leader Graeme Lornie.

A “whisky-infused” post entitled Leaders in Love alleged the two, from Aberdeen, had been "scouting each other out", reports the Daily Record.

Billy, 36, wrote: “Yes, our Beavers leader Catherine and our Scout leader Graeme have recently found a liking for each other’s attentions."

Texts: Scout leader Graeme Lornie

"And who can blame them?

“Following their regular nights together at Scouts and all their camping adventures, they’ve decided to take their love into the digital age with a series of text messages showing their involvement.

“Over the past eight months or so they’ve shared numerous flirtatious texts, including such gems as ‘I have feelings for you’, ‘I feel like you used me’ and ‘My head is a mess – Scouts, you, everything.’”

Billy said he could make full transcripts of the pair’s text conversations “available on request”.

He added: “This has been going on since last summer," and wished them a long and happy life together.

Billy went on: “Scouting is being seen as seedy enough at the moment with recent events in the news.

“This, probably one-off, event should not tarnish the reputation further.

“This event should not be considered a fair reflection of scouting as a whole.”

Scouts Scotland were told about the post by the Daily Record about the post and it was removed from the website within 20 minutes.

Billy later said that he had nothing to add.

Married: Catherine's partner Billy accused her of an affair on the Scout website

He told worried friends on Facebook: “All is fine here thanks guys.

“My good pal Glen (Livet) is sorting the day out fabulously.”

No one was available at the house Billy shared with software engineer Catherine in Dyce. They have children, and the youngest is eight.

Catherine, 35, did not respond when we emailed her to ask for a comment.

At 48-year-old draughtsman Graeme’s home, his wife of 27 years Kay, 55, said Billy’s post “did not come as a surprise”.

She politely declined to say more.

Scouts Scotland said: “We were made aware of a post on a local Scout group’s website that caused offence and immediate steps were taken to ensure it was removed.

“The circumstances are being investigated to determine what further actions may be required.”
