Kabul the heart of Afghanistan

The city of Kabul is situated between the wedges of Hind Kush Mountain. Kabul is the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul is considered as one of the oldest city in world.

                     The journey of this unmark able city started in 2000-1500 BC when it was discovered. Even in Vedas sacred it’s mentioned as a vision of paradise in set of mountains. This city has been the important center of Buddhism. This city has been ruled by many big emperors such as Alexander, Mughals and by the 5th century AD it was owned by its own kingdom Kabul-Shahan.

           In 871 it became pilgrimage of Islam and near about 400 Muslims shifted to Afghanistan. The city of Kabul covers the Afghanistan and some parts of the present Pakistan.   The Moroccan traveller Ibn Battuta visited the city in 1944 and was highly impressed with this beautiful city. In year 1947 this empire was ruled by Afghani Empire. In late 1966 this city fell in tribal wars these inner differences cause the downfall of Afghani Empire. In year 1836 this city came under the control of British Government. Tribal people were totally against British government so they revolted against them and after lot riots and massacre of so many innocent people finally British returned in 1878. After the departure of British government Afghanistan faced really good time till 1970’s. During this period lot of development was done, this country had developed in field of education and tourism.

                 From 1970’s to 1980’s the downfall of this beautiful country started when this country was divided in two troops which lead to the destruction of this developing country. The rising sun of Afghanistan was about to face sun set because of all those fights. Then in 2001 this city came under the control of American Government to rout the governing Taliban. So that’s how a beautiful era of a beautiful city ended.
