This episode features the appearance of the villains of the series, the Roidmudes and officially naming the rider, "Kamen Rider Drive". One of the villains, Roidmude Heart revived Roidmude #029 Cobra Type/Iron Roidmude.

As far I as remember, Kamen Rider Wizard is the last series with this type of concept, the monster being revived in the next episode after being killed. So that means, the story arc will be composed of 2 episodes.
