LIFE IN THE FORESTS

Posted on at

The forest is normally a very big dark place. There is almost complete darkness due to numberless trees and creepers etc. hardly the footpath is a little wide. The   sunlight cannot come through  the leaves of the trees due to thickness of leaves the shade does not seems to be green but black due to little light.

The air in forests is cool and fresh and there is a complete silence to be found there. The track is so narrow that only one man can pass at one time.  Even   a small pone cannot walk there. Creepers are so large and dense that even if you cut the trunk of tree, it will not fall down due to the net of creepers woven around it. There is a little life in the forests and even that is rarely seen. There are butterflies only seen to be rarely, or a wild hen, or lizard, Eggs of ants and track of ants prove that these little creatures also live there.

The forest is not good place for lonely visitors. You can become afraid in forest due to many things. Sometime you may feel that watchful eyes are looking at you. Sometime you will see palm tree leaf moving to and fro but there will be no wind at all. Similarly one leaf may move and stop moving later whereas all the other leaves are stationary.  So the forest may seem mysterious and strange to you sometime.

But the economy of any country depends upon the on range of forests present in it. According to general idea about the 25% forest are necessary for the country’s development.
