FC Barcelona striker Luis Suárez explained in an interview with UEFA media that he knows very well the quality that Manchester City possess “in midfield and up front, but they also have weakness at the back”, and he added that those vulnerable areas they had to exploit. The Uruguayan knows the Manchester club well after his time at Liverpool in the Premier League, and he admitted that Manuel Pellegrini’s team are one of the clear favourites for the Champions League trophy.

City are not in the best of form at the moment as they trail leaders Chelsea by five points in the Premier League: “People may doubt them because of the run they have been on lately, but they are Manchester City.
