In my last blog i was written about the life of William Shakespeare's and his literary work. Now i am telling you about the major plays of William Shakespeare's. He is my favourite Playwright. He is the greatest and most popular writer of modern English. His plays have been made into movies. His sonnets have shown in books and music.William Shakespeare's  works translated into hundreds of different languages. His contribution In English drama is more then that of anyone else. The following Ten plays of William Shakespeare's  are discussed below:

1.  Hamlet:

Shakespeare wrote Hamlet in 1599 and 1601, when he was 36 years Old it was his first major tragedy. It is about Prince Hamlet this play is set in Denmark and relates how prince Hamlet exacts revenge on his uncle Claudius, who killed the King, takes the throne and weds Hamlet's Mother. Hamlet feels sorrow for his dad. In this play Shakespeare shows madness, steadfastness, mortality, trust, family connections, foce. Hamlet is longest play. In any case, It is his most recognized work and the most celebrated speech ever.

2. Romeo and juliet:

Romeo and juliet is a tragedy composed by William Shakespeare in his early career. it was among shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime. This play is an early tragedy about two teenage. Two families, the Montagues and the Capulets have a long quarrel with one another. Two young members from both family meet at a covered ball and fall in love with one another. They keep this a secret from their families to maintain. In the end of this play their untimely deaths occur. The play has been highly defined by literary critics for its language and dramatic effect. It is viewed as on of the best Love Story ever.

3. Midsummer Night's Dream:

Midsummer Night's Dream was written at in the 1590's. Midsummer Night's dream is set of  amongst a forest filled with unpleasant and fairies. The play revolves around their foolishness and begins with a misplaced love potion. The wrong guys love with the wrong girl and that Makes many comical situations. This cast includes the Queen of the Fairies and  Titania along with pease Blossom, Cobweb, Mustardseed, and Moth. Oberon is the servant of the fairy. His shenanigans always get him stuck in an unfortunate situation but he means well. The play is one of Shakespeare's most well Known works for the stage and is widely performed over the world. 

4. Julius Caesar:

Julius Caesar tragedy is believed to have been written in 1599. This play is derived from events that really Happened. The name of the play is "Julius Caesar". Caesar is not the central character of this play. He is actually killed off in the third act. Marcus Brutus is the hero of the play. The story revolves around Marcus Brutus. It shows his struggle between patriotism, friendship and honor, This play shows what was going on in England at that time. Queen Elizabeth was working on in years but were not name the person who would take over upon her death.The people were worried that there would be a civil war upon her death. 

5. Othello:

William shakespeare Othello Tragedy was written in 1603. This  tragedy depends upon the relationship of four characters. Othello, Desdemona (his girlfriend), lago (his advisor) and Cassio (his lieutenant). This story revolves around envy, suspicion, and insecurities. Othello is a general in the situated located in Venice. lago is Othello's friend. He promotes Cassio to individual lieutenant which sets off lago. At the point When Othello ran off to marry Desdemona, lago began plant to kill the two of them. When Othello starts question Desdemona, he trust in lago that he is suspicious. Othello kills his wife. He injures lago and then kills himself.

6. Macbeth:

 Macbeth is a tragedy composed by william Shakespeare. The play is believed to have been written between 1603 and 1606. Macbeth is shortest tragedy of william shakespeare's. The play tells the dangers of the lust for power. He tells the story of a brave Scottish general named Macbeth. Three witches meet with Macbeth and told him that he will be Thane of Glamis, afterward the ruler of Scotland. He goes home and tells this news to his wife, Lady Macbeth, who then devises a plot to kill the scottish ruler, Duncan, and edge his guard for the homicide so that Duncan's children, Malcolm and Donalbain will escape the country leaving Macbeth to take the throne. After he does This, his fighters leave him and he is defeated. In This play Shakespeare composed a real witch's mantra into the text and due to this, superstitious actor trust the play is reviled. Lady Macbeth is the true villain of the play she already has an evil side. Actors will normally refers it as "The Scottish play"

7. Twelfth Night:

William Shakespeare Twelfth Night was Written in the early 1600s. It is also one of the best Shakespeare plays. Twelfth Night is about the gradually effect that happens when one person assumes another character and gender. The play was named to pay tribute to the Christmas holiday. It starts with Viola, the play's leading lady, left between a rock and a hard place and dry on the shores of illyria. She cannot find Sebastian, her twin brother, and trust him to be dead. She disguises herself as a man and expect the persona of Cesario, Who works for Duke Orsion. The Duke loves Lady Olivia. She loses her brother. Olivia falls in love with Cesario. Viola falls in love with the Duke.

8. King Lear:

This is the story of a father who is giving up his kingdom between his three little girls, Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia. King Lear is the ruler of Britain When he gives away piece of the Kingdom, He has each daughter talk and say how much they love him. Goneril and gegan are evil. They don't love their dad. They mislead him and say they do. Cordelia, Who actually loves,him, anger him when she says that she loves him according to her bond no more or less. Lear divides Cordelia's portion of the Kingdom between of Goneril and Regan. But the youngest one, Cordelia is the only one who truly loves her father but says nothing. This story receives Jealousy and fighting ensue and all does not end well. 

9. Henry V:

Henry V was written in 1599. This play shows the life of king Henry V of England. This play Shows the occasions immediately afterward the Battle of Agincourt during the Hundred Year's War. The original audiences have already been familiar with the title character. The character of Henry V was portrayed from the "Henry IV" play as a wild. In "Henry V" the young prince has transformed into a full grown man and leaves on an attempted success of France.

10. The winter's Tale:

The winter's Tale was Written in the 1600s.  It is also one of the best Shakespeare play. In this play Shakespeare shows a romantic comedy with touches of tragedy. King leontes thinks his wife has been cheating behind his back with his friend Polixenes, the King of Bohemia. Leontes says his servant to poison him, He tells Lenotes instead and the King's home. What goes on next spans several years instead and they leave the King's home. What goes on next spans several years with false detainment, the death of Leontes infant and many misunderstandings. Shakespeare's plays depend on the jealousy, murders, which keeps things always interesting.
