Mano Amiga, the best version of myself.

Mano Amiga, the best version of myself.

In life we go through many experiences that make us who we are, and when someone asks me, What has been what has marked my life? I don’t hesitate to answer that it whas been the opportunity to be part of Mano Amiga Chalco.

Finding this path has been the most beautiful and incredible God´s concidence, Mano Amiga is my home and my family, where I found God at every moment, smiling at the good moments, hugging me in bad moments, I have also found him in each person, with each word and every smile. I have been taught to look for him when it seems he is not there and I have been given testimony that He is always in the hearts of those who love him and that I can bring Him to others.

This road, like any other, has been full of challenges, but together we transform lives and the best way to deal with all things is to learn to be the best version of ourselves. So I learned not only to be part of Mano Amiga, in turn to BE Mano Amiga.

BEING Mano Amiga is not just wearing the uniform every morning, being aware of all classes and fulfilling the homeworks.

Being Mano Amiga is being able to say Yes, and No,  It is living with love, respect and holiness, it’s teaching what you know and never stop learning, It’s being humble and ready to take every opportunity, it’s  knowing yourself, it’s being committed, responsible, persevering, it’s listening to advice and making decisions.

It’s learning to overcome with good the evil, it’s doing what God wants and want what He does. It’s knowing how to unite faith and reason, it’s being completely different from the others in every way.

It’s making a difference, it’s being light, it’s being a missionary, being Regnum Christi, it’s being integral men and women, it’s uniting our thoughts, feelings and actions, it’s taking the initiative to be the change that the world needs, it's becoming the woman or man that you admire, it’s leaving a print in the hearts of others.  Being Mano Amiga is Being a Leader of Tomorrow.

It is for these 12 years of teaching, learning and formation that I want to infinitely thank all of those who are part of this great family and for holding my hand on this wonderful journey.

Thank you teachers for sharing your love for knowledge, for your time, for your testimony of life that gives us passion in each class, and for always believing in us.

Thank you families for being our pilars and support in every test, being witnesses of love and charity.

Thanks to all of my classmates who made this journey an adventure.

And above all, thanks God for interveining in all things for the good of us all.
