Mustard Grilled Lamb Chops

INGREDIENTS

  • Lamb Chops 8-10 (from the shoulder region preferably)
  • Onion 1 (paste)
  • Garlic 5-6 cloves (minced)
  • Ginger 1 inch (minced)
  • Mustard sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Vinegar 2 tablespoons
  • Parsley or coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Basil leaves (chopped) 1 tablespoon
  • Ground pepper 1 tablespoon
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Salt as per taste
 

COOKING DIRECTIONS

Soak the lamb chops with onion paste and salt while you prepare the actual lamb chops marinade with vinegar.

Add the minced garlic and ginger to vinegar and beat it for at least 3-4 minutes. Add mustard and the spices and beat again for 5 minutes.

Coat the lamb chops with the marinade and refrigerate it for an hour.

Thaw it for 15 minutes after removing from fridge to bring to room temperature.

Switch on the grill of your microwave to high and let it warm for 4 minutes. Brush the chops with oil and put them on the skillet for grilling.

Grill on each side for 5-7 minutes (depending on how big the chops are).

Serve hot grilled lamb chops with mayo and mustard sauce.
