Desserts are usually sweet, but can be hot, cold or frozen. Even though they are sweet, they do not have to be unhealthy - most fruit is sweet.
Even dishes that would be considered unhealthy can often be altered by replacing fattening ingredients with better ones.
Should you decide to eat a dessert based on how nice it tastes, then one day isn't going to do much damage.
