NFL Season Preview: AFC West

Posted on at

With the season about to begin in less than a week Football fanatics are giddy with anticipation. The NFC continues to look the tougher conference an the NFC South and West divisions look to be the best divisions in the league, but the Broncos with Manning will still be a contender this year and may even be better than last year. Here is how I see the season playing out.

AFC West: What can I say but The Denver Broncos look like they will continue to be the best team in the AFC. They look to be even better than last years team and the shoo in for the Super Bowl once again. The Kansas City Chiefs should finish as the second place team as the have the talent and Alex Smith looks to continue his career revival.

The Chargers will probably be the Third place team but. The Chargers have good offense but their defense looked weak in preseason and will hold them back. As much as I like the raiders and wish they would start being a better team I just don't think it will happen this season. I believe at some point during the season Derrick Carr will replace Matt Shaub at QB and the Raiders will slowly begin to turn things around and be improved at the end of the season.

Denver Broncos 13-3
Kansas City Chiefs 10-6
San Diego Chargers 8-8
Oakland Raiders 6-10
