Below are nutmegs as you can see. The nutmeg is lodged inside a fruit which is inedible. The net covering is removed and stored  after drying. The seed as seen below is also dried and then the shell is broken. The seed is then sold to medicine shops which deal in it. The net covering is also used as medicine. 

This seed is very costly and can be considered as cash crop.
