Participative theory

Posted on at

Participative leadership theory suggests that the ideal leadership takes input from its followers or subordinates.

These leaders make sure that the all the employees have a chance to speak what they think is right and they should be a part of the decision making so that they have a feeling of some power and that helps such leader leaders to motivate their employees too without going that extra mile.

Leader must take the input but the power of final decision should be his and must be able to make decision on his own but the employees should not feel that their participation was useless because that will lead to demotivation.
