Pkistan Imminent collapses

Posted on at

Political collapses usually occur in un-democratic states. When militants capture large territory. Taliban `conquests` peaked under Musharraf, But today they hold isolated pockets. While their striking capacity remains intact, nobody seriously thinks they can re-capture large territories but they have already done massacre in these respective areas. Economic collapses occur due to Zimbabwe-style continuous 25-30pc annual fiscal deficit and hyperinflation; 1997-98 East India-style private sector foreign loans over-exposures and currency collapses or USSR-style prolonged negative growth. All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) Chairman S. M. Tanveer lamented the decline of Textile industry saying “This industry is on the brink of; total closure due to an un-viable investment environment, amid high cost of doing business.” He says “Textile industry can’t bear the burden of 170 billion rupees tax” and argued cost of doing business had lead to total obliteration of Mill employees and owners in past year. The advocacy for technocratic government is misguided. Ironically’ Pakistan collapsed in 1971 after 20 years of non-democratic techno-military government; despised their supposed economic miracles. If in egalitarian societal structures produce self-serving political institutions; those structures also will produce self-serving military religious and bureaucratic institution. Expecting them to provide better leadership is futile. Better leadership emerges through democracy as social structures changes gradually.
