Raas Malai.

Raas Malai is the one of the most favorite deserts and specially in summer because of it is served chilled .

The basic ingredients with their Quantity are:

  • Dry Milk                      1  cup
  • Backing Powder         1/4 tsp
  • Floor                         1/2 tsp
  • Egg                             1
  • Ghee                           1  tsp
  • Pistachio                    1/2 cup
  • Milk                           1 liter
  • Sugar                         5 tbsp   

Procedure:

Take a bowl and mix dry milk , backing powder, floor ,ghee mix them . Beat the egg and add it spoon by spoon and leave if doh become thin . Mix it gentle and make small round or oval balls.

 


Take another pan pour milk and sugar and heat it to such an extent that it remains 3/4 of total mixture. Than add balls in it very carefully and cook it on light flame . Don't stir the mixture with spoon otherwise balls will break down . Turn the side of each ball after 5 minutes . and cooked it for 15 minutes.


Pour this mixture in serving tray and add pistachio nuts on it and placed them in freezer.Serve them when it become so cold.
