Posted on at

We were recently visited in our studio by someone whose name you might not recognize but you have likely viewed her work and you are definitely familiar with some of the amazing talent she has brought across the Atlantic from BBC television into the limelight of American stardom in film, in television and on stage ... Her name is Rebecca Eaton and she is the person behind the PBS Masterpiece series since 1985. Her impressive resume as PBS Executive Producer includes bringing some of the best series in British television to U.S. audiences including "Prime Suspect", "Bleak House", "Miss Marple" and most recently "Sherlock" and "Downton Abbey". Over the course of her career she has racked up 31 Emmy Awards and 16 Peabody Awards. Familiar names like Daniel Radcliffe, Benedict Cumberbatch, Hugh Laurie and Damian Lewis are all alumni of her programming. Now adding "Author" to her list of accomplishments, her new book is titled "Making Masterpiece." A remarkable woman with a remarkable body of work, #InTheLab was honored to have her here and to listen in as she shared some of her stories with host Arthur Kade. Take a few moments and join us with Rebecca Eaton InTheLab!
