Seven C’s of Effective Business Communication

Today I am writing different blog about effective business communication. The message or any information I said to be correct or effective when the receiver gets the same meaning which sender was intended to convey. Because this world is well globalization due to this reason if we want an effective communication we should get these seven business communication skills. Due to appearance of every first letter of C, so it will be pronouns Seven C’s….Basic Seven Business communications list are given below;

  • Correctness
  • Clarity
  • Conciseness
  • Completeness
  • Consideration
  • Concreteness
  • Courtesy



Correctness refers to;

  • Grammatical mistakes
  • Sentences structure
  • Pronunciation
  • Accent
  • Right level of language

At the time of sending message or encoding, the encoder should have knowledge about the decoder’s grammatical mistake, academic background and accent etc…


Clarity makes the complementary easier.

It demand or requires simple information or message and also the use of simple language about which we want to send….It’s very easier for decoder or receiver so that he/she will decode yours message and act on it..


Conciseness is very important because by using this point in major meetings, conference or any other gatherings we can save our time. It is a business message which can be achieved by avoiding wordy expressions or reputation.  


Completeness brings the desired response.

By completeness means, message should be complete not lengthy, no go for extra stuff. Message should complete and correct so that your message gets the attention your receiver on your desires.


Consideration means understanding of human nature.

It demand to put oneself in the place of receiver when you encoding the message. It demands your attitude, positive pleasant environment, accent, facts and figures, visualization problems, receiver problems etc….



It built confidence.

It demands facts and figure not vivid or any imbigvity material in you sending message.


Courtesy strong/strength your relations ever…

Courtesy means visualize receiver problem instead of sender. Courtesy builds goodwill…
