Some of you have already used this feature in order to fit links into the spaces allowed in microblogs. Applications which take any URL and shorted it with a new custom link.

I got email from a relative who uses a lot of links and references to his work. It made his email easier to read.

Then I saw the URL shortening application here. Cleverly, the words ad and fly are combined to adf.ly. That is the name of the site. I decided to check it out today and I love it! You also get a referral URL (mine is http://adf.ly/?id=11564817 ) which lets you tell other people, maybe her or on Facebook or e-mail, how to use it. And when your link is used, that is a benefit to you also.

I like applications like this that provide a useful service when generating revenue.
