Stress has become national epedemic no 1: So we Dance! Alors on danse

Posted on at

Yesterday I was watching Humberto Tan. He is like our David Letterman only better, sweeter, darker and baller. But anyway, they talked about that 50% of the people in our country suffer from stress. 50 % is kind of shocking. But I am not surprised. We always have to work, find entertainment, raise children, get stuck in traffic, follow the news..... and then you get stressed... Humberto Tan shows a fragment of this great song 'Alors on danse' by Stromae.  He is a Belgium rapper but he is famous all over Europe and in the USA they know him as well. It is a mix between electronic sound and his typical raps.

At the beginning of the video Stromae is sitting in his office. After a hard day's work, he apparently wants to visit his child, but as he arrives at his wife's house he is told to leave. He proceeds to walk down the street, and as he does this a homeless man steals his coat. He then enters a pub. At first he does not appear to enjoy himself, but as he becomes more inebriated he begins to sing on a small stage. After his performance he passes out, and is brought back by an unknown man from the pub to his office desk in the first scene, where the video started.

I post the video's in a blog because one is the original clip and the other one is the one with the English lyrics. If you switch of the volume of the lyrics song. you can play at the same time when you play the original clip. so you know what he is singing about.

enjoy the music and dance!
