Music evolution is very fast just like it's another modern time medium.  Music is a part of a modern man/woman's life. Without music, everything will tend to bore us.

Modern man has created recording media to play the records even without the physical appearance of the band involved with the music. This effectively propagated all kind of music to most parts of the world.  The first tape players and recorders were propagated and large magnetic discs type vinyl records are all over the world. This is a modern way to promote music but the production costs are right until the time that cassettes were mass produced cutting the cost of vinyl production to half. The cassettes are available in blanks and home-recording is a trend among people to promote their music.

Cassette tapes are one of the best tangible music formats. Until the birth of CD. CD is good but they are not as durable as cassettes. MP3 became the king in the new millennium. This is digital rips of CD's and audio's alike. However, this format kills the tangible formats and make a big impact on modern musicians as more and more pirates are stealing copyrighted material and they are redistributed all over the internet!
