English is the international language and it has great importance in Pakistan because it is the official language and English was adopt as the compulsory language in schools and and the system universities.Before the independence Pakistan was the colony of Britain and English is the language of Britain the system inherited by newly born country is totally based on English and over all higher education research paper is in English so to learn the English is Necessary for Pakistani students.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      There was the great ratio of the students who were failed in English subject at primary and secondary level .It is difficult for our students to face the English while learning this subject.so i think we must revive over national language Urdu but critics think that Urdu is not the international language so it cannot be the official language they have the argument in favour of English that Pakistan can not be called as progressive and developed country we can not be advanced with out learning English.Even our university tests and the papers of civil service of Pakistan is also in English.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   In Pakistan the English is considered as the fashion of Elite class and it is hurdle in the way of Urdu as the official language of Pakistan .They have lack of confidence on Urdu language  but for the national point of view Urdu is the only language that can unite the peoples of Pakistan and also the English is against the our cultural values because English is seems as the slave language for Pakistan.
