From speaking to others there is two sides to the Great Gatsby. One side is they love it and the other is they hate it.

 

I am one of those who love it, First off the story is simple but really effective. The way the script is wrote is brilliant. The music is just as superb as well. I like how there is new music with an old styled film, Also the fact that they have such a big variety of acts for music, From Will I Am to Lana Del Rey. 

The cinematography was extraordinary. It got very creative with its shots, My favourite is the scene where Gatsby's car runs over the lady. How beautifull the slow motion is. its just amazing. 

I also think that Dicaprio was a superb choice for the part of Gatsby, he is brilliant in everything but this was magical.
