You look chubby and people make fun of you due to your obesity? This will be very annoying for you. This will not only annoy you, in fact, this will reduce your confidence level and you will remain behind. If you are really worried about your obesity and do not want to go to the doctor or wanted to take any medicines, then I am here to tell you what to do and what to eat so that you can lose weight without doing any effort. In these days, people face obesity but they do not have time to go to the gym and do any kind of physical exercise. So I decided to have a research and find such foods which can be very helpful to lose weight. So without wasting any time, let us start today's blog.

Leafy Vegetables

Leaf vegetables, also called potherbs, greens, vegetable greens, leafy greens, or salad greens, are plant leaves eaten as a vegetable, sometimes accompanied by tender petioles and shoots.

Vegetables have been always very effective in a human diet. But the vegetables having leaves are very beneficial for the overweighted people. Leafy vegetables like kale, spinach, collards, swiss chards and a few others are very good for such people. They have such properties which make them a perfect food for a weight loss.

They have very low calories and carbohydrates but they are full of fiber. Eating leafy vegetables will increase the number of your meals, without increasing the calories. Several studies have proven that the people having meals with a low energy density make them eat fewer calories overall. Leafy vegetables are also extremely nutritious and very high in all kinds of minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins. They also have calcium which is considered to be fat burning in some studies.


Apples are always a healthy fruit. They are a very great source of vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. Most of the times we do not eat the skin of apples which is not a good practice. Most of the nutrition is in the skin of the apples and we just peel it and throw it away. We should not throw its skin rather we should have to eat its skin along the rest of the apple. There is a saying:

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Apples contain pectin which is an ingredient that slows digestion naturally and increases the feeling of fullness. It means that apples do not allow you to eat anymore. Studies have proven that if you eat a whole apple with your meal then it will be a natural appetite suppressant which will help you to consume fewer calories overall without feeling deprived.

They also help in digestion and prevents constipation. Its use also protects you from cancer. It also controls diabetes and reduces the weakness as well.


Salmon is an oily fish and oily fish like salmon very healthy for fat people. It is not only healthy but also very satisfying which keeps you full for many hours with a very small amount of calories. This fish is full of healthy fats, best quality protein,  and all kinds of important nutrients. 

As seafood provides a significant amount of iodine and salmon has enough amount of iodine which is very important to keep the metabolism running smoothly but according to the recent studies, a large number of people are not getting enough iodine required by their body.

Salmon also has Omega-3 fatty acids which have been proved to be very useful in reducing inflammation which has an important role in obesity disease. Trout, sardines, mackerelherring and other types of oily fishes are also excellent.


Bananas are very famous for having potassium in them but they are also very useful in reducing extra fat on your body. They are also a great source of resistant starch which is very useful and important for weight loss. This resistant starch works in a way that our body digest it very slowly and we feel full all the time while at the same time this starch encourages the liver to switch to fat-burning mode.

The important thing about bananas is that they have this fat reducing ingredient when they are not riped and are little green so you do not need to get ripe bananas if you wanted to lose weight. Bananas have other benefits too like they help in regulating blood pressure, help prevent strokes in older women, ease digestive problems, refill the nutrients after a physical workout.

 Boiled Potatoes

White potatoes once were very liked but now they seem to have fallen out of favor but the important thing about them is that they have several properties which make them the best food for weight loss and optimal health. This is because they have a wide variety of nutrients in them which our body needs in one way or the other.

White Potatoes are very high in potassium which is a nutrient needed by our body to control the blood pressure. White, boiled potatoes are at the top of the list of foods which can fulfill the appetite. This means that after eating boiled, white potatoes, you will naturally feel full and you will eat very less food.

So boil the white potatoes, let them cool for a while so that they will form a large amount of resistant starch, which is a very necessary component of weight loss, and has them.
