Whether it is a city or a village, streets are everywhere in the world. In some places, streets get fame too. But there are some unique and amazing streets which become the focus of people for some reasons. Such as their tightness or the presence of some strange things etc.

So let me show you some of these strange streets in the world that are very famous for their uniqueness.

Angel Place, Sydney

Unexpected sounds of bird-chirping indicate that you have reached the street in the central Sydney, named "Angel Place". After reaching there you see a hundred and twenty empty cages above your head that wonder you. In fact, these empty cages were hanged there by a singer to get public attention towards wildlife situation. But now these cages have become so popular that they got a permanent place and if we keep our ears open, the singer's song keeps ringing all day long that is listened in the chirping of 50 or more species of birds. While in the night, the sound turns into those birds' voice which awake at night.

Maeklong Railway Market, Thailand

It is a market, a railway line, and a street as well. Isn't it wonderful? It is located in Central Thailand. Here in this picture a moment ago shopkeepers were busy in selling fruits and vegetables but in the second-moment train whistles and the shelves begin to be removed and buyers get stuck in the edges out of the track. Then the train passes through this track at its full speed which was chock a block with people a while ago but as soon as train passes, the market becomes normal as if no train passed through this track.

De Julio Avenue, Argentina

It is the world's widest street, located in a city of Argentina named Buenos Aires. At first glance, it looks like a motorway because there is a twelve-lane road to pass through vehicles. Its construction was initiated in the 1930s and it took fifty years to be completed. Most of the historical monuments can be seen around De Julio avenue.

The Norderstrabe, Germany

Passing under the shoes hanging in hundreds, you might get a horrible feeling but as soon as you enter into this street, located in Flensburg, you will experience that feeling. There are hundreds of shoes hanging over the rope and in this regard many traditions are famous. As a boy becomes adult, he hangs a shoe to express that he is a man now. Regardless of all of these traditions, it is considered one of the world's strangest streets. Tourists also consider it as their obligation to hang shoes there.

Baldwin Street, New Zealand

Baldwin street is considered the steepest street in the world which is located in Dunedin, a city of New ZealandBaldwin street is like a football ground in length which is constructed in a shape of a slope, which flows down from top to bottom and it is so tedious to walk on this street that's why there are 270 stairs available. After climbing up the stairs, tourists go down while catching a beautiful view of Otago.

Spreuerhofstrabe, Germany

Going from this street can only be possible by a thin-bodied person if a chubby person tries, he will surely get stuck there. I should have said he can not even enter into this street. Because it is called the world's most narrow street which is merely 12.2 inches wide. This street was constructed after a massive firework in the town of Germany, named Ruetlingen in 1727. After seeing it I can not understand the strategy of the builders why they constructed it. If anyone from Germany is here, do share your knowledge in comment box.

Bubblegum Alley, America

You will not be able to see garbage anywhere on this street. Apart from the colorful chewing gums. Yes, I am talking about Bubblegum Alley, which is located in San Luis, California. On these 15 feet long walls, every person has full freedom to stick a chewing gum. And you will not believe, this is going on here since 1950. Due to which these dark walls are now colorful like a Rainbow. People who come here first time often get scared after seeing this wall but many people like it very much and they stick their own chewing gum as a monument.

Snake Alley, America

Do you want to see the most zigzagged street in the world? Let me tell you about Snake Alley in Burlington.  You will freak out while roaming around this street. The curves of this street are twisted like a snake and there are 5 curves on this street that is why it is called Snake Alley. If we are in the car than we have to turn the car in 1100 degree. Isn't it awesome? While writing this heading I am imagining myself there. I really want to check in here. May be in the future..!! :-)

Snake Alley, Taiwan

This Snake Alley is so different from the one that I described above. It is also known as The Huaxi Night Market and it is located in Taipei,Taiwan. When foreigners go to Taiwan, they really want to go to The Huaxi Night Market where alive snakes and the products made by snakes are sold. Fish blood, minced meat of snake, snake blood all are available in this market and I think these items can not be found easily anywhere else. However, I will not recommend a weak-hearted person to go there because the living snakes are cut sternly in front of our eyes which could be a very dreadful scene for the weak-hearted people.

 Stanstead, Quebec: Canada

Have you ever seen a street where you start walking from one edge to another and at the end, you find yourself in another country? Surely your answer is "No". But I am going to tell you about the street located in a Canadian city QuebecThe reason for its fame is the international border between Canada and America. There is a house which kitchen is in Canada and bedroom is in America. How would you feel if you take the meal in Canada and then go to sleep in America? lol very interesting though! The same situation is with the cinema located there, which stage is in Canada and the entrance is in the US area.

Estrada Do Bom Jesus, Portugal

It would not be wrong if we call it the Magical Street which is located in a Portuguese area named BragaIf you keep your car there in neutral gear, it will start climbing up to the mountain against all the principles of gravity. Many people believe that Magnetic waves drag the vehicles upward while some people believe that there is a transcendental power. But the fact is, it is a visual fraud of nature because two roads meet each other which look like that one side of the road is higher than the other side. Although it slopes downward.

Gawalmandi, Pakistan

After writing about world's different countries I thought I should introduce my country as well which is fully blessed with these sort of things. But in this part I will merely talk about the one street as I am gonna reach the limit of my blog. This part will freshen the food lovers as well.

Gawalmandi is located in Lahore, Pakistan. The history of this historical street is very old. Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims here played a great role in promoting the flavors of various foods. In 2000, it was given the shape of Food Street in order to save the historic structure of this street and the government bought the residential buildings from the owners while, the photo studios and other shops were also replaced with restaurants. That means, food is everywhere on this street. You will find there all the varieties of traditional foods of Pakistan. I invite the people of all over the world, come and freshen your taste in Pakistan which is already well-known across the world for its food.
