California - UC Irvine Students managed to break the record for the largest pillow fight version of the Guinness World Record.
On Tuesday (30/9) and then, more than 4.000 UC Irvine students crowded into the campus with a pillow in their hands. Sea of students, mostly freshmen and transfer students are preparing for the biggest pillow fight record-breaking version of the Guinness World Record for 60 seconds. Activities that they have done as part of the tradition of the series of events UC Irvine Welcome Week before classes begin on Thursday.
Thousands of students UC Irvine beat the previous record holder, the DJ duo Dada Life from Sweden who just managed to coordinate around 3.813 participants. Meanwhile, citing the Orange County Register, in fact there are 4.447 students in the field. However, organizers only provide 4.200 pillows.
This is the third year for students of UC Irvine to hold the world record. Last year, the students managed to break the record for the largest water pistol fight. Meanwhile, in the previous year they managed to hold the record for the largest dodgeball game.
