MANILA, Philippines – “Laban Pilipinas, Puso!”

This is the battle cry of the whole country every time the national basketball team Gilas Pilipinas is battling against other nations in the FIBA World Cup.

Despite being miles away from Seville, Spain, Filpinos here in Manila found a way to show their support for the undersized Gilas squad.

A group of friends from Laguna decided to document their reactions during the crucial moments of Gilas Pilipinas match against Puerto Rico through a video recording.

The video titled “Gilas Night Reaction Video” was uploaded on Vimeo by a certain Miko Dilao.

It appeared to be inspired by the Filipino gays' reaction when beauty queen Venus Raj was crowned Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner up.
